The human form is the most challenging thing to portray because everyone knows what it looks like. That is why many artists spend time to learn to draw and paint the human face and figure. I do it because human beings are beautiful.

Drawing from life teaches me to see. After years of weekly ateliers, where I practiced on paper with charcoal, Conte, and pencil, I began to paint with oils and watercolor. I thank the many models and monitors who allowed me hours of pleasure while I learned my craft.
